We’re raising funds for our cousin, James MacDonald, who has been courageously fighting colon cancer since 2018. Sadly, treatment options in the UK have now been exhausted, and James is currently receiving palliative care.

But there is still hope. A promising, highly targeted chemotherapy is available in Frankfurt, which could significantly improve James’s quality of life.

As cousins, we want to do what we can, so we’re organising a charity walk around Willen Lake to help raise the funds needed to get James to Frankfurt for treatment.

We’ll be walking three laps of the lake (12.6 km in total) on Sunday 28th September. As we all have different abilities, we’ll be taking it at our own pace—what matters most is coming together to support James.
