Hello to Everyone

 

We are very touched by our friends’ and family’s excitement about our June marriage in Gibraltar and now finally after months of lateral flows and PPE it seems we can finally celebrate!

 

Some of you have asked if we’ve made a gift registry someplace; the answer is no. We are very grateful for having so many material things in our life and there is nothing we need to complete it. Honestly, we don’t need anything. No toaster, no bath mats, no decorative art. Rob may be a bit sneaky and convince some of you we need a Guinea Pig, but this must be ignored. We have everything we need.

 

Instead, we’ve set a goal to raise £ 3000 for the Marie Curie Society and Doctors Without Borders. (MSF - Medicins sans Frontiers) The Marie Curie Nursing Service helps people approaching the end of their lives to remain at home. The service is free. This summer Rob’s Nan was a beneficiary of their care and was able to remain in her home until she passed away. We are also keenly aware of the urgent refugee problem and know the MSF continues to provide emergency care under the most harrowing conditions .

 

A wedding is a time to bring people together to celebrate and if you are interested in helping with our goal we’d be delighted.

 

A friend suggested if we surpass our goal we could treat ourselves to a nice supper. We might just do that (shh don’t tell anyone)
