Please Help Doug and Gillian

On September 15, 4:50pm a truly beautiful human who fought bravely and privately for over three years, succumbed to a dreadful disease. The last few weeks have been filled more pain than any person should ever have to bear, tremendous strength and fortitude, and a love shared between a husband and a wife that will inspire me forever. Doug would want us all to think happy thoughts, share fond memories, and hold Gilly in our hearts today and everyday. Thank you all for these amazing contributions that will help in every possible way that you can imagine. Much love to each and every one of you.

Three years ago, a diagnosis altered the course of Doug Lawler and Gillian Shelly Lawler's lives.  Doug has battled with grace, dignity, humor and pride while Gillian has been unwavering in her love, support and partnership.  But now our dear friends need our help.  Neither would ever ask for it - which is all the more reason I'm asking you now.  With mounting medical expenses, and Doug no longer able to work, every dollar contributed will help them better navigate an overwhelming and heart wrenching situation.  I know that they will be grateful for any amount raised - so please contribute what you can - no matter how big or small.  Every dollar will make a difference.
