A way to bless Zach and Kara Frink

On March 27th, Zach was swimming in a lake with a co-worker and his kids. With Zach's playful personality, he unknowingly dove into  shallow water and broke his C4, C5 and C6 vertebrate. It left him instantly paralyzed from the neck down and unable to breathe on his own. He has already undergone two surgeries to stabilize his neck, but is not expected to recover any further or make additional progress then he has.

 

Zach was out of state during the accident, so he's in a hospital on the other side of the country. His wife and kids need to pay for lodging, food, gas and any other needs that come up.

 

Zach had a larger then life personality and is always the biggest energy in the room. It is impossible not to be drawn to him and his heart. You’re lucky if you know him, but bless if you love him. He truly cares about people and his family. Even if you can’t give, please join us in pleading with the Lord to restore Zach’s body.

This fundraiser is being managed by Kara's best friend, Mistie Melcher. Your support has been overwhelming and is really appreciated! We have set up a new (separate) bank account for these funds and Mistie is helping Kara with the coordination and logistics of reservations, delivery schedules, payments and disbursements. Since Zach is down in Louisiana, right now these funds are being used to help his family be there with him. It includes lodging, meals, travel and incidentals; in the future they will be used to cover medical expenses that aren't covered by insurance.
