A Walk-In Shower & Ramp for Grace Bradby

We have created this fundraiser for our beloved grandmother and mother, Grace Bradby.

Grandma Grace was living an active and independent life until a stroke hospitalized her in January. She had only recently slowed down from being a constant caregiver and taxi to others in the community, due to the stress of the pandemic.

We appreciate all of the thoughts and prayers Grandma Grace has received during this journey to recovery.

By God’s grace and Grandma’s own determination (with a little stubbornness sprinkled in), Grandma Grace is now mobile with a walker and showing other signs of independence.

Not surprisingly, Grandma Grace is looking forward to being back in her family home! Unfortunately, her right leg has not regained full mobility and she has stairsteps leading to both the back and front entrances of her home. Also, her current bathroom has a metal tub that she can no longer get into.

We are asking the community she has served to consider welcoming her home to an accessible walk-in shower and a handicap ramp.

Any support you provide will help offset the cost of removing the existing bath and replacing it with a shower, along with the materials and labor for her ramp.

If you don’t want to send funds online, you can mail donations to my mom’s house. Grandma Grace has been living there since being discharged. Please message me or my mom if you want to mail a check and do not have my mom’s address.
