My name is Sally and I am fundraising for Steve Harding who is fondly known as ‘Turtle’. A family man to a beautiful wife Libby and 8 kids (some now grown). Steve is a community member who dedicated his life to the volunteer Rural Fire Service both in the ACT and NSW.

This last few weeks have been a whirlwind for Steve and his family. Within 9 days of presenting to hospital with a suspected heart attack, Steve was unfortunately diagnosed with an aggressive form of Thyroid cancer and given a short time left on this earth.

This diagnosis comes just months after members of Steve and Libby’s family had been involved in a serious Motor Vehicle Accident in which Steve and Libby were first responders. Since then Libby has been off work to help on the farms.

With this news Libby is unable to work while caring for Steve and Steve is unable to continue working.

With this shocking news Steve has created a rather small but meaningful ‘bucket’ list he would like to complete.

Please help me help support them to make what short time they have left count and make some memories for their children.
