A Void: A New Immersive Dance Experience

We’re inviting you to be part of something transformational.
After years of dreaming, visioning, and deep collaboration, we are thrilled to share a project of connection and humanity.
Premiering June 13, 21 & 22, A / VOID is a groundbreaking immersive dance experience created by visionary movement artists Comfort Fedoke and Zoe Rappaport that lives inside Chromasonic Field, the renowned light and sound installation currently located in Downtown LA's Arts District.
In this powerful work, 16 LA-based dancers navigate this living, breathing installation — bringing to life an original performance that expresses the full spectrum of human emotion felt within The Field. In confronting what we often choose to avoid, the audience is guided into a deeply embodied, sensory experience... the dancers’ bodies echo light and sound frequencies that reflect the world within and around us.
As stage and soundscape, Chromasonic Field serves as an active collaborator with the dancers, enhancing states of awareness, connection, and encouraging a profound sense of presence. In collaboration with costume designer Lorae Russo, all costumes are made from recycled mono-materials from RTV Return to Vendor — reinforcing the project’s commitment to ethical artistry.
Now, we need your support to bring this to our community.
We are independently producing every aspect of this performance from dancer compensation to costume design, PR/marketing & documentation. We’re doing this because we believe deeply in the work. We believe in the dance-artists. We believe in the message.
To bring this vision to life and ensure every artist is paid fairly — we need your help.
Your contribution will directly support:
- Fair compensation for our incredible cast of dance artists and collaborators
- Handmade, sustainable costumes created from recycled & recyclable materials
- Photographers & videographers to capture and share this story with the world
- Production needs to create an unforgettable, immersive experience and continuing to present the work beyond the Premiere
