Terminally Ill Father
Donation protected
Aloha friends and family:
I never reach out this way, but I feel this is a worthy cause....
My father Terry Cope, lives in Colorado, and was diagnosied with squamous cell carcinoma 4 years ago. The diagnosis became terminal about 6 weeks ago. My 7 children, husband, and I live in Hawaii.
It has been 5 years since my children have seen my father. Many of them were so young, they can't remember ever meeting their grandpa in person.
Plans for my father to visit the islands were interrupted by cancer. The cost of the many medical treatments and now my father's poor health, prohibit him from making the journey.
If I have one hope, it is for my children to know their Grandpa. I want them to have the opportunity to make memories with him before he is too sick to be himself.
His health has declined so quickly in the last month, we are unsure as to how much time he has left. This has led me to reach out for help. We do not have the time we thought to save for a trip. We hope to go in the next month or so.
I am so grateful for all of the prayers and support you have already shown my father on this difficult journey. We appreciate all of your continued support and love.
