My dad, Ricky Thomas, passed away unexpectedly on August 14th. He was a veteran who continued to work for the VA as a biomedical engineer and died with 40 years of service. His death was a really difficult thing to process for me and my family, and I have taken on the responsibility of handling his affairs and honoring him after death.

As a single mom, the financial aspect of this has been especially taxing on top of the grief.

I am seeking help to pay for his cremation along with other expenses like travel, as he lived out of state with no family nearby. I would greatly appreciate any help anyone is able to provide in this difficult time.
