My mother’s name is Elwanda Hamilton. She is 69 years old – her 70th birthday is coming up on June 5th. She has worked as a nurse’s aide for over 30 years in the state of Texas. She has always been a great mom to me and my two brothers. She was diagnosed as Covid positive in November 2020 – and she was truly fighting for her life during that time. I stayed with her for a month – feeding her three meals a day. She almost didn’t make it. Then, in 2021 she had a gallbladder attack and had to have emergency surgery. It seemed to take her body forever to recover – but finally she pulled through. In March of 2022 – she was hospitalized for congestive heart failure and in July 2022 she had to have a pacemaker put in. After all those events…I moved her here to California with me. I was already taking care of two households…mine and hers. So, my husband and I decided that she needed to be here with us in California. We moved her here in October 2022 – got her a new primary care physician, etc. Then…in February 2023 – she was diagnosed with STAGE 4 CERVICAL CANCER. OMG! How much more can one person take?! She started her chemo treatments in March at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. Her hair and eyelashes have started coming out. Her skin has worsened dramatically. She has lost over 70 pounds. She is constantly sick to her stomach.

My Mom wants to travel to Denison, Texas for the Anderson-Terrell School Reunion on 7/13-16/23. I am hoping to find her a great wig and buy her some new clothes because she's lost so much weight and nothing in her closet fits anymore. Any help would be truly appreciated.
