Hello, my name is Diana Graham. I am hoping you will partner with my husband and me in helping our Ugandan friend Patrick receive the funds he needs to marry his sweet fiancee, Jackie! Patrick is an orphan from the streets of Mbarara, Uganda who started his orphanage (R.A.D.O), rescuing 20 children during the Covid-19 pandemic. Patrick and I forged a familial bond on a mission trip to Mbarara, Uganda over 10 years ago.

When a couple would like to get married in Uganda there is a dowry to be given to the bride's parents. In this case, to receive their blessing Patrick is required to provide them with 9-10 cows (Each cow costs $300). Once Patrick acquires the cows they will have a celebration called an Introduction. This is similar to our engagement celebration plus the dowry. After this, they can have their church wedding and reception. Patrick and Jackie are very excited about starting their partnership together, for RADO and starting their own family.

Patrick will need $2,700.00 for the dowry (For nine cows), $500 for the wedding and $800 for the reception totaling $4,000.00. We already have one cow paid for!
