Hi, I'm Heather, and many of you might have followed the adventure that Matt and I went on this l summer.
We wanted to move from California to the New England area for many reasons. Wanting a place to start over. The weather in the central valley is getting worse every year. We had a lot of reasons for wanting to go and go now. We sent our stuff ahead of us and went on a road trip. We thought it would be a once-in-a-lifetime way to see the country. We did have a plan for when we arrived, but due to the housing market and the general economy, things did not work out the way we had hoped when we got there.
We had a lot of hard choices to make at that point. The best offer we got was from a friend all the way back in California. Our stuff was already shipped and sitting in Boston, and California was 3000 miles away. Going back was a difficult and expensive choice, but there was nothing else we could do. We still had some savings left. We figured we had enough to return to California, but that was about it.
Right now, we have our everyday needs, like our phones, car insurance and food, that we need to keep covered till we can get a stable source of income again. We are not located in the same area of California, so we can't get our old jobs back.
All I'm asking is for some help to get us over this rough bump in the road. We tried to do something to improve our lives, but it didn't work out; this time. Sometimes that happens and this time, it's left us in a pretty low spot.
Thank you for any help.
