My name is Rachel and I am blessed to work at UAH in Huntsville, AL in the Facilities and Operations department. Each day we serve our customers with excellence and care. This department feels like a second family and when one of our own is in trouble, we feel called to help. While we were all ringing in the New Year with family and friends, a co-worker of mine was involved in an unexpected house fire and lost all of his belongings on New Year’s Day. He is the type that would give his clothes off his back if he could help someone and he works hard each day to give back to others with his service within our department. A little goes a long way and I’m just hoping that I can raise something for him as he starts to rebuild his life after this devastation. If you feel the desire to give, anything will help.
