Update - Due to the financial burden it is causing, Travis and I will no longer be able to stay with the family we’ve been staying with. We need to be out of their home no later than 3/31. About the only option we have is moving to Virginia in hopes that some of my family there can take us in and help us get on our feet. At the very least, we need a car/van/SUV so we can get jobs and then housing. At least with having a vehicle we would have somewhere safe to sleep. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

My husband and I lost our home to a house fire in July 2023 in Lafayette, GA. We had only been here since May 2022 and had no renter's insurance. We were living in our car until it was repossessed in July 2024.

We are currently staying with a family who was gracious enough to take us in, but it has become such a financial burden on them. Without a vehicle, getting jobs has been virtually impossible.

I am trying to fundraise to get a vehicle so we can #1, contribute to their household expenses and #2, get back on our feet so we can get a place of our own.

We lost ALL of our belongings, but our main focus is getting a vehicle and helping out here until we can get out on our own again.
