I’m reaching out with a heavy and hopeful heart. A little over a year ago, my husband was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident caused by a negligent driver. Since that day life as we knew it had completely changed. As a result of the accident, he suffered a traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, and now experiences regular seizures along with other medical challenges. He is no longer able to work or care for himself independently. He lost his business and the life he worked so hard to build.

I am doing everything I can to keep us afloat. I’m working a full time job and two part time jobs while also being his full-time caregiver. I often have to miss a tremendous amount of work to get him to medical appointments and therapies, which puts enormous strain on us emotionally, financially, and physically. Our current transportation methods are not ideal and take extensive planning and they still often times aren’t successful which causes him to miss appointments.
We are in desperate need of a handicap accessible van to safely transport him to the care he needs. Right now, even the simplest trip is a challenge, and our current vehicle is not equipped to meet his needs. This is incredibly hard for me to ask, but we need help. I am asking for $15,000 to help us purchase a handicap accessible van and cover essential support needs as I continue caring for him.

If you’re able to donate, share, or just send some words of encouragement, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit helps and brings us one step closer to regaining some stability and peace.
