Hello Everyone,

The Carhart family is asking for some financial help for Scott and Judy. For those of you who do not know, in September, Scott experienced some major physical and health issues. Scott’s melanoma returned, and it was discovered that he had cancer in his brain, lungs, and liver. He also had cancerous tumors found in his spine, which unfortunately left him paralyzed from the waist down. He has been receiving targeted chemo medication for his cancer treatment, and by God’s grace, the medication and treatment seem to be working—PRAISE GOD. However, Scott remains paralyzed, which has significantly impacted his daily functioning and mobility.

One major need that has arisen is transportation for Scott. Scott and Judy are looking to purchase a disability/mobility van that will make it easier for Scott to attend his doctor appointments, provide a less stressful way to get out into the community, and allow him to attend church.

As a family, we are asking for help and are providing a tangible way you can support them if you feel so inclined. We have received numerous gifts, prayers, and letters that have been such an encouragement to everyone, and we are incredibly grateful. We have done extensive research on disability vans that would best benefit the family, and the honest and fair amount we are setting for this GoFundMe account is $20,000.
