Meet the Memolo family. Kathy, Shawn, Natalie, and Makenzie. Kathy is a beloved 1st grade teacher at Oakland Avenue Charter School. Shawn takes care of Makenzie full-time and drives the family to work, school, medical appointments and back every day. They have two beautiful daughters. Natalie goes to OACS and Makenzie goes to UCP. They have one car, which has since broken down, and are in need of a disability van that they can use with a wheelchair. Makenzie’s medical needs require one of them to be on call at all times, so Shawn cannot work. This car setback is enough to bankrupt their family. Any help that can be provided to the Memolos would be appreciated beyond what we can express.
