I'd like to introduce you to our Eli!
Eli is a 13-year-old living with cerebral palsy. Every day, Eli shows incredible strength, resilience, and a spirit that inspires everyone around him. Despite the challenges he faces, Eli loves being part of his community, going to school, and spending time with family and friends.
However, something many of us take for granted—simple transportation—is a daily struggle for Eli and his family. He lost his father to cancer a couple of years back, which left his mother and grandfather as his caregivers.
Because Eli uses a wheelchair, getting in and out of a standard vehicle is physically demanding and, at times, unsafe. As Eli grows, lifting him is becoming more difficult, and the lack of a wheelchair accessible van limits his ability to attend medical appointments, school events, and activities that bring him joy and independence.
We are raising funds to purchase a wheelchair accessible van that will allow Eli to safely travel without the need to transfer out of his wheelchair. This van will be life changing. It will provide:
Safe and reliable transportation
Easier access to medical care and therapy
The ability to attend school and social events more consistently
Greater independence and dignity for Eli
Wheelchair accessible vehicles are extremely expensive, often costing tens of thousands of dollars, even when purchased used. This is why we are reaching out for help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Eli one step closer to greater freedom and a better quality of life. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page with others would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Eli’s story, and for supporting a young boy who deserves every opportunity to move through life with comfort, safety, and independence.
