Dream Education - University Fundraiser for Fiha

This is Fiha, a 24 years old girl from Pakistan.

I am seeking your assistance in pursuing my Master's degree in Canada. I have been accepted into the University of Manitoba, where I will specialize in Social work. As someone brought up in a third-world country, I have a profound awareness of the impact social work can have on the broader human development of communities and I believe that this may be my calling. For the past 2 years now, I have been trying to find the right fit but Pakistan does not offer the same quality of opportunities as Canada. This year, finally, all the stars have aligned, in that I met all the admission prerequisites and received adequate family support and scholarships. As you may be aware, however, the Pakistani Rupee has depreciated by approximately 30%, wiping out the worth of much of my savings. The total cost for the first year of education, including tuition fees, visa fees, GIC account fees, living expenses, and airfare is CAD 32k. I’m falling short of CAD 7K.
