A truly selfless woman needs our help

Hi, my name is Abby and I have the privilege of calling this woman, Christina, my dear friend. In November 2023, just shy of her 38th birthday, Christina discovered a concerning mass in her breast. At the time of this discovery, this working mother of 4 (ranging from a toddler to 2 teenage boys) was already facing high medical bills due to sub-par insurance, and a child who had multiple hospital visits over the past year. In the past 2 months, the bills from extensive scans and testing to determine her severity of cancer have continued to collect. When the insurance company denied a PET scan, stating "cancer isn't advanced enough", she got put through 2 additional scans instead. She currently has stage 1 breast cancer and has begun her 6 cycles of chemotherapy, with surgery to follow.

This is a woman who has always given her ALL to her family and friends. Not to mention her full time work, where she advocates, serves, and helps people with intellectual disabilities to live their fullest lives.

Now please help us show Christina what it’s like to be on the receiving end of extremely deserving support, so that she’s able to focus and fight for herself.
