My name is Kerry Kincaid and I am raising funds for someone important to me. Melinda is a team member that I supervise. She is one of the hardest-working individuals I have had the pleasure of working with and is one of those people that make going to work enjoyable. I like working with smart people, and she's at the top of my list.

On Friday, September 15th, 2023 a truck drove into her home. It crashed through the exterior wall into the master bedroom, then proceeded to turn and drive down the hallway toward the kitchen before stopping. Melinda was in the next room and saw the headlights coming at her after the truck turned. No one was injured in the incident until you consider the trauma that seeing your home destroyed would bring. A load-bearing wall was damaged. A contractor pointed out the serious damage including a collapsing roof a result of the damage caused by the driver of the truck. Her home is practically destroyed and will take 3-6 months for repair/resolution. Melinda has been unable to return home to make use of her property or collect belongings due to the damage. She's leaning on the kindness of others and doing without while she waits an agonizing long time for her insurance company, and the police to do their jobs.

Melinda will have deductibles, unexpected living expenses, and medical and legal expenses to contend with for the foreseeable future. I know she'll come out this stronger in the future, but the cost is a very terrible present. A present that is no fault of her own and that she in no way deserves.

Please help Melinda and make her present just a little less terrible and her future more secure.
