A trip for Anna

The Conley family adopted Marianna through Somerset Social Services, after fostering her for the first 18 months of her life. They receive no adoption subsidy. She was recently diagnosed with a secundum atrial septal defect (9-10 mm) with left to right shunting. In layman's terms, she has a hole in the wall between the upper left and right chamber of her heart. This is a birth defect due to drug exposure in utero. She is currently scheduled for surgery on May 2nd at 8:30 at the Children's National Hospital in Washington DC. Medical insurance will cover the medical costs but, the Conley family will need help with covering the  two night hotel stay, meals and parking for 2 cars. They are set to arrive in DC on Tuesday, April 30th and stay overnight to have Marianna at the hospital for pre-op testing at 8:00 am on the 1st of May. This is an outpatient procedure that will take between 4-6 hours. From there the Conley family will be on their own until they have to report back to the hospital at 8:00 am on the 2nd of May.  She will be undergoing the open heart surgery on May 2nd and praying all goes well, Marianna will be released by May 7th. The timing is urgent so any help you can offer is greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance and be sure to check Jon Conley's Facebook status for updates on Marianna.
