In Memory of Toby D. Bates

August 10, 1957 – June 21, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Toby D. Bates — a beloved stepfather, friend, and truly good man. Toby touched the lives of so many with his laughter, and his presence. He was the kind of person who was there — for his family, for his friends, and for anyone who needed a hand.

Toby was not just a part of our family — he was family to anyone sitting close by. His love was felt through simple moments: a conversation on the porch, a helping hand without being asked, and the way he always made you feel like you mattered. He meant the world to us.

We’re now working to honor his life with a proper Celebration of Life and help cover the unexpected end-of-life expenses that have come with his passing. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go toward final arrangements and a memorial gathering where friends and family can come together to remember him.
