John Starrett was a beloved partner, father, son, brother, and uncle. He was a high-standing member of the communities across the Florida Panhandle. He passed tragically and suddenly on the evening of July 2, 2026.

His family is seeking donations and assistance for burial and memorial services. Any unused funds will be donated in his name to the Howard T. Odom Florida Springs Institute.

John left his mark on our communities through his underwater photography, spring & wildlife conservation initiatives, and passion for adventure. We are grateful for any help in preserving his legacy and honoring his memory.
