A Tribute to Connie Mejia

Sunrise June 11, 1929 - Sunset December 8, 2023.

“True giving from the heart is an expression of love”. With grateful hearts we would like to reach out to those who have not had a chance but would like to honor Lola Connie with this GoFundMe as an opportunity to partake in her celebration of life ceremony.

She made a life that was full of love and giving. Mama, Lola, Connie, Queen, Cion are just the few memorable names that she is to us. With her heart as wide as her open arms she was generous and could be seen as the cheerful giver that she was from food to money to time. Known by the warmth of her smile, her strong spirit of faith and funny humor that cheered others up, it is a blessed celebration that she has seen 94 years of living and loving life to the fullest.

We are making this request on behalf of the unforeseen expenses that will be made to adorn and honor her life as she departs from this world unto the next. We thank you all for the love and support you have shown us, her family members. Strong in spirit, the Lord called her home after a 2.5 week bout in hospice surrounded by her family within the comforts of her bedroom.

Any amount you would be willing to help provide Lola and the family is deeply appreciated.
