A tree for Natalie

Donation protected
Hello there, my name is Chris Flanagan and I'm fundraising for my beloved Natalie who left us a little over two weeks ago. She was my world,  love of my life and a light to everyone who knew her. Her health had been precarious for years. Diabetes and high blood pressure and mental health problems that she battled valiantly, did not, for a moment, stop her from emanating radiant sunshine on everyone who knew her. I witnessed it time and time again when somebody met Natalie, they instantly fell in love with her. She was my everything and I thank God for the 12 wonderful years I shared with this Angelic soul. In the end, her Mighty heart failed and though the paramedics worked valiantly, heroically, she went to be with her ancestors. In death, as in life she gave everything. An organ donor, her liver went to give somebody a second chance at life and her beautiful eyes went to help somebody see again. In our world, the tidal wave of devastation was totally and utterly complete. None of us could function. However her son Estelle came across a beautiful way to send her off. It's called Better Place Forests St Croix valley. You can look it up on the internet. I think it's a wonderful concept. You pick a tree in a protected forest and spread her ashes around it. The tree I picked is a red maple on a hill overlooking a little lake. It's a beautiful and magical place and as a proud Ojibwe, I know she'll love it. As with everything, it cost money and unfortunately, everybody in our circle is struggling to get by. The tree is over $15,000 and I'm determined that my beloved will be here to rest in peace. Natalies son Estelle suggested go fund me to help with the final costs. It would be amazingly wonderful if that could happen. I believe it could because I believe in the great goodness of people. So I would appreciate any assistance to say goodbye to a bright shiny light that left too soon. We have a sign hanging on our wall that says "gratitude, turns what we have into enough." She really believed this and lived this. As for me, I really struggle with this now but I have to say I'm grateful to even have known her, that she chose me to share her life with, that I witnessed how her overwhelming love affected everyone she knew or met. I was blessed to be in the presence of truly Angelic energy. And now I have to say goodbye to my beloved and thank her for making my life so wonderful. She will love her tree and I can go and sit and talk to her and I'll be with her that way. Farewell My Love and I'll be seeing you some fine day. Natalie Dawn Boucha Streiff.
