A translator in need of a translation software

Hello there! My name is Uli and I’m fundraising for Trados Studio Freelance, a translation software required by almost all larger translation companies or companies in general.

I’m physically disabled (Generalized Dystonia) since I had a snowboarding accident at the age of 14 and have always hated playing the disability card. Despite my handicap and inability to speak, I opted for studying Modern Languages at UCV and specialized in translation, preferring no special treatment. Obviously, it took me some years longer than the average 5 years. Nonetheless, I have a Licentiate Degree (equivalent to a Bachelor Degree) in Translation now. Due to the requirement of the software I’m fundraising for, I have scarcely been employed to do my job as a translator.

My goal is to work as an independent translator, which practically requires having that software. This is where the funds go to.
