Hi! My name is Lex and I'm twenty three years old. I came out as Non-Binary at nineteen years old. At the time, I was enrolled on my families health insurance but was shortly kicked off due to my gender and sexuality. I have paid for my own costs of living in every way since then. I'm running this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of my upcoming leg operations and medical bills.

In June of 2024 I was diagnosed with severe varicose veins in both of my legs. This causes visibly bulging veins, limited mobility, poor circulation, easy bruising, and painful restless leg syndrome. Essentially, my legs feel like they are burning 24/7. I have to work at least fourty hours a week on my feet to afford rent. Recieving these operations would allow me to have a more normal life again. I used to enjoy doing many physical activities like hiking, swimming, and going to concerts. Currently I can't physcially do more than go to work and rest afterwards. Even being in the car for longer than 30 minutes can be extremely uncomfortable.

Currently I'm enrolled in my employers insurance so its virtually impossible for me to leave and find a job that demands less physically from me until I recieve these operations. I have five operations scheduled already between November & December which means I wont be able to bring in as much money during that time. Please help a queer person get back on their feet, anything helps and everything is appreciated :-) Any donations would go towards my five operations and additional medical expenses.
