Hi all! I'm Elliott and I'm fundraising on behalf of a friend in a bad situation who needs to remain anonymous. My friend, who I'll call Jane, is trying to leave a bad situation in a small town and start over in Ottawa. Unfortunately, part of the situation she's leaving is that she has no income of her own. We're happy to be her safety net in as many ways as possible, but we don't have room for her to stay.

That's where you come in! This fundraiser is for an AirBNB for Jane; 5k will cover a month of a long term stay easily, and in that time Jane will be able to land on her feet and start the process of getting more income support - whether through a job, OW or ODSP.
