A tragic turn of events...Lahaina Fire

Hi, my name is Sydni and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mother's closest childhood friend, Monica Ellison. Monica along with her daughter and 2 grandkids, have run into hard times in Maui/Lahaina. Circumstances beyond their control forced them out of their home and into a shelter. To make matters worse, the shelter (in Lahaina) where they were staying burned down to the ground.

When they were on the road fleeing from the fire, they ran out of gas and waited 8 hours for help. After finally receiving the help they needed, they tried to return to their car that held all of their belongings, only to be told by officials that it had also burned to the ground. Monica, her daughter, and her 2 grandkids have lost EVERYTHING! They have only the clothes on their backs. It is a heartbreaking situation, and any amount you can give to help them through this dire situation would be greatly appreciated. The funds will be used to provide them with temporary housing, clothing and basic needs including food and toiletries.
