A Torah for our kids, Chavie a'h & Isaac zt'l

Hi,

Our names are Barry & Elisheva Stein.

Our beautiful children, Chavie a'h & Isaac zt'l were the most incredible gift to our world and yours.

Their smiles lit up a room, their pure neshamas(souls) shone through the many difficulties they had since they were born with the horrible, debilitating disease of Aicardi-Goutieres Syndrome.

They spent their lives unable to move or talk, but it didn't matter.

Their ability to love and give to this world is all that mattered.

They affected the lives of countless people, bringing out their capacity for kindness and doing good.

We lost Chavie 14 years ago.

She was such a precious neshama who loved Shabbos and Yomtov.

We lost Isaac 2 years ago.

Isaac loved Torah. One of his happiest times all year was going to shul on Simchas Torah and getting to hold and dance with the Torah.

His face would beam with the true special light of his beautiful neshama as he sang and kissed the Torah.

If anyone ever came over, or even on the phone- to learn Torah with him, he would smile as the joy poured forth from him.

They will be smiling down on us knowing there is a Torah written in their merit.

It would mean so much to us to honor and cherish their memories by creating a Torah in their names.

The Torah will live on forever and give us the comfort from the holes in our hearts and souls from the unspeakable tragedy of losing them.

Our children have nobody named after them, for us this Torah is the child that will bear their names forever.

We had just about completed the Torah when unfortunately there was a glitch with the organization that was helping us.

Baruch Hashem, we were able to find another Torah that is almost now completed.

But now we need to pay for the last parts so it can be completed,iy'h as soon as possible so Barry can have the zechus to see the Torah completed, as he unfortunately is very sick with cancer.
