A Top Gears "Grand Tour" without the budget to be Grand.

It's time to save the world ...... again. Three Gents with Humble Beginnings born in the southwest region of England embark on a trip to India. Although we are no strangers to exotic ways of raising money for charity, neither one of us has attempted something as grand as this. We are spending 14 consecutive days on the road, covering (roughly) 2,800 KM in a Tuk-Tuk. Why are you doing this? It's for several reasons. However, the most prominent reason is to raise money for charity.

Now, as a disclaimer, none of the funds are going directly to us., not even to help pay for the trip itself, that is all taken care of privately. Every and all funds raised on this page will be going directly to the designated charity.

Our chosen charity: Cool Earth.

Cool Earth is a charity that works alongside indigenous villages to halt rainforest destruction. Protecting tropical rainforests is a cost-effective and potent way to fight the climate crisis. All we have to do is protect it. This chosen charity starts with its people. I know it sounds a bit ironic that a charity focusing on stopping deforestation and restoring our rainforests would start with the local populous, but people living in rainforests do amazing things when backed with cash that supports them, benefits rainforests, and helps fight the climate crisis. They believe that supporting Indigenous peoples and local communities is the key to fighting the climate crisis and securing a future for all of us.

They have many projects going on at the same time. These include battling the mining of gold illegally, a recent industry popular amongst criminals wanting to make a quick buck. Raising funds for local firefighters to be given new equipment and special training in helping to stop forest fires. And coming up with new ways the local people can live without harming the natural habitat of the surrounding animals.
