My nick name is feather, and I’m just an everyday Canadian who’s been watching our national debt quietly grow for years. Like many of you, I kept wondering: why isn’t anyone doing something about this?

A hopeful Canadian response to global chaos: let’s lead with fiscal responsibility and unity—one toonie at a time.

So—even though I’m nervous and shy—I decided to try.

This campaign is simple: if every Canadian gave just one toonie ($2), we could raise millions—and show the world what a united Canada can do. One can dream.

Every dollar raised will be sent directly to the Receiver General for Canada—the official government channel that accepts donations toward public debt.

Canada's national debt has passed $1 trillion. That means more tax money going toward interest instead of health care, education, and the future we want to build. While this fundraiser won’t erase the entire debt, it’s a starting point—a symbol of action in a time of silence.
