A Tiny Heart Needs Your Help – Fatima's Heart Surgery Appeal
Donation protected
Fatima is the only child of a young couple living in the suburbs of Lahore, Pakistan. She is just one year old but has already faced more medical challenges than most do in a lifetime.
After repeated chest infections, she was evaluated by a cardiologist and diagnosed with a large Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) – a serious hole in the heart that is causing her heart to enlarge and strain under pressure. Her condition has now progressed to pulmonary hypertension, a dangerous complication that threatens her lungs and life. Her Echocardiogram report and consultation notes from cardiologist are attached here for reference.
Unlike the UK, Pakistan doesn’t have a national health system like the NHS to provide free life-saving surgeries. Her family has exhausted every option, but the cost of a proper surgery in a reputable hospital is beyond their reach – approximately £2,000.
Her father works hard as an InDrive (Uber-like) daily wage driver, but this amount is simply not possible for them without your help. Every single day that the surgery is delayed puts Fatima at risk of permanent damage to her lungs and heart.
Time is critical. Fatima’s life depends on timely surgery.
We are humbly asking for your support. Every penny counts. Even the smallest donation can help save a life. Updates and transparency will be provided throughout, and we will share her progress and surgery outcome with all our kind supporters.
"Whoever saves one life – it is as if he had saved all of mankind." (Qur'an 5:32)
Please donate, share, and keep baby Fatima in your prayers
