I have set this page up on behalf of Angus MacDougall because sometimes life’s kindest are hit the hardest and deserve both recognition for their battles and also help and hope when it’s needed .
A little bit of background as I think everyone actually needs to know that not only is this man a kind generous person to friends he is also a father , husband , brother and son - and he has always been one of life’s “good eggs”. He also has always supported charities and done as much as he can for others and always selflessly. One small example is through multiple events with Rally for Heroes raising money for SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Family Association.
Very sadly Angus was after months of issues diagnosed with a brain tumour . Despite attempts to reduce this ultimately the only answer was major surgery. Thankfully this surgery was successful and removed fully. However people often don’t realise the after affects of such a diagnosis , treatment and surgery . Angus has been left suffering and debilitated with severe migraines that are only mildly relieved by a cocktail of extreme pain killers.
In addition to a loving family, being a complete petrol head he wanted and still wants to turn his beloved Porsche 911 into a animal 6.2 Litre V8 ! His one piece of solace has been this car project. This is his dream , his get out of bed have something to focus on project . Well now that has gone completely pete tong having suffered a detonation in the engine when it was one day away from completion, leaving the block as scrap. He is also broke. I would stress that it is not about the car, it is about hope. Angus locked on to this project and it gave him moments of pleasure amongst a life of perpetual pain and misery.
We need your help to re start and finish this beauty, don’t forget as well as donations to leave some messages of hope for Angus to remind him that he isn’t alone . Because I can guarantee you once this car is ready it will be driving everywhere and anyone will be taken for a spin so he can show you his pride and joy . As well as no doubt appearing at many Rally for Heroes events .
This is about giving someone back their hope someone who has given so many people theirs
