Vamos ajudar a Thay a vencer a batalha contra o câncer

Oi, gente!

Estou aqui para pedir a ajuda de vocês para a minha grande amiga e flatmate Thayná.

Ela foi pro Brasil e infelizmente teve o diagnóstico de Câncer no colo do útero, com metástase no fígado e sistema linfático.

A Thay veio para a Austrália há um ano e meio, cheia de sonhos e planos, noiva do Gui, que se tornou um grande amigo nosso também. Essa notícia pegou todos nós de surpresa e acabou mudando completamente o rumo das coisas.

Sei como a comunidade brasileira aqui na Austrália é unida e se mobiliza nesses momentos difíceis, então quis carinhosamente vir aqui pedir a ajuda de vocês.

Infelizmente os custos dos exames e tratamentos são muito altos, por isso criamos essa vaquinha. O intuito é principalmente pagar os custos das passagens ida da Thayná e do Gui para o Brasil - que foram parceladas no cartão - e o gasto dos primeiros exames e consultas. Os dois chegaram no Brasil sem emprego e qualquer contribuição nesse momento vai ajudar muito.

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out to ask for your help and support for our dear friend and flatmate, Thayná.

She was diagnosed with cervical cancer, which has metastasized to her liver and lymphatic system.

Thay came to Australia a year and a half ago, full of dreams and plans, together with her fiancé, Gui – who also became a close friend of ours. This heartbreaking news came as a huge shock and completely changed the course of their lives.

We know how strong and supportive the Brazilian community is here in Australia during tough times, and that’s why we’re kindly asking for your help.

Unfortunately, the costs of returning to Brazil, along with medical tests and initial treatments, are very high. We’ve set up this fundraiser to help cover these urgent expenses — especially the one-way tickets to Brazil for Thayná and Gui, which were paid on credit, as well as the first round of tests and medical appointments.

They are arriving in Brazil without jobs, so any contribution, no matter the size, will make a big difference.
