Hello, my name is Elizabeth, a young mom supporting two children. A while ago I was unexpectedly laid off from my job that was the main income supporting my family. Ever since, it has been a difficult time keeping up with rent, bills and basic essentials. Asking for help is incredibly vulnerable but right now I’m in a position where I don’t have many options left. I spend my days actively applying for jobs but the waiting period has left me struggling to meet basic needs.

This fundraiser is to help my family with food, essential items and rent. I know times are hard for everyone and there are others deserving more — but I felt it’s worth trying and asking for any help, any support, no matter how small. It would mean stability, relief, and hope during this overwhelming time.
