Hi, our Camden, SC Post 17 American Legion baseball team has won their first ever Southeast Regional championship and is headed to the American Legion World Series in NC this week. However, the team must provide their own chartered transportation back to the site of their regional championship where they will be bused from there to the site of the World Series in Shelby, NC. The cost of a small charter bus to take the team back is $700.00 and we would appreciate any level of donation you could provide to help with this expense. Camden is a small town in the Midlands area of SC and the local American Legion program does not have the funds budgeted to pay for this. This is an awesome group of young men who have overcome significant adversity to reach this point and they would be thankful for any amount you might be able to help with. Thank you SO much!!!
