We are asking for your assistance in providing all of our Haverhill High School Boys Basketball players with the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic basketball program.
As you know, many of our families in the Haverhill community are not in a position to do all of the extras that go into building a competitive program. We are creating a GoFundMe page to make it possible that all players can be included in the training, competition, and exposure that they need to be able to compete at the highest level with the rest of the teams in the Merrimack Valley and beyond. We are hoping to raise enough money so that every Student/Athlete feels included and has opportunities they may otherwise, never experience.
Haverhill Boys Basketball’s goals for this year are:
1) To allow the boys to play in various competitive leagues, purchase much needed training equipment and provide specialized training to improve all aspects of their game.
2) To help players participate in the off-season, meaningful basketball (AAU programs, Hoops for Hope league, Fall Ball, pre-season tournaments and off-season workout sessions) to improve their skills and prepare them for the upcoming season.
3) Organize important events that include alumni games, cancer awareness games, etc.
4) Fun activities to help players build team unity and create a good team atmosphere (movies, bowling nights, pasta nights, pregame meals etc.)
It takes a village to raise these young men and we need your support to make it happen. Please share our GoFundMe page with your network and ask them to share it with their network. We know money can be tight, but please know that even $5 will help us get closer to our goal.
