Hello Friends and Family,
As many of you know, our incredible Shannon Curry will be undergoing surgery at the end of January. During her recovery, she will be out of work for a period of time, and as we all know, the bills don’t pause for anyone. Shannon, as a mother, wife, and provider, still has a family to care for—one of the most important being Brayden’s ongoing medical expenses.
For those who may not have the pleasure of knowing Shannon personally, let me tell you a bit about the kind of person she is. Shannon is a dedicated teacher, a passionate coach, and above all, a wonderful friend and mother. She has a heart that is as big as her spirit.
Her students love her. Her peers respect her. And as a fellow educator, I am personally so grateful for her presence in our community. She pours her heart and soul into her work, ensuring every child she teaches feels valued and capable.
Let me share just one story to give you an idea of the impact she’s had. My daughter, who once struggled deeply with reading, was frustrated, embarrassed, and discouraged. As a mom and a teacher, I was heartbroken. How could I not be able to help my own child when I help so many others? But then Shannon stepped in.
After just two years working with my daughter, she has not only gained the ability to read, but now she *enjoys* it. She is thriving, and it’s all thanks to Shannon’s dedication. This is the kind of difference Shannon makes in the lives of every student she works with. She is often the only stable, positive role model that many of these kids have in their lives, and she gives them everything she has.
During time, I’m asking for your help. Any support you can offer to Shannon and her family would be deeply appreciated. I know times are tough for many of us, but every dollar truly does make a difference.
Let’s show Shannon the same love and support she has shown so many others.
Thank you for considering a donation. Your kindness will help lift a remarkable person during a difficult time.
