A Tale of Three Kitties - Good-bye, nuts!

Donation protected
We are no longer taking in cats here at Bee Meadow Farm, however three cats mysteriously showed up here in April anyway. The three boys are all around two years of age, and none were neutered. They all looked like they had been outside for a while, and they were either dumped here or wandered here, as they certainly don't belong to any of our neighbours. The last time a cat showed up here by itself was in 2020, and we've never had three appear at the same time. If cats show up in our barn, we take care of them, but it is cruel to dump them in the countryside, not to mention pass on the financial responsibility of caring for your cat to someone else.

None of these boys had microchips (quelle surprise!) and all of them are mature, pungent tomcats. Miguel (black, on right in photo) and Manny (orange, centre) have now been neutered. Pablo (left) will be neutered sometime in June. The fact that Miguel came running the first time he heard a can opener makes me highly suspicious he was a pet that was dumped for spraying.

This GoFundMe has been started to raise funds to cover the costs of their exams, vaccinations and boosters, FIV testing, microchips and neutering. We now have 31 (spayed, neutered, vaccinated) cats at Bee Meadow Farm and the costs of caring for them properly are substantial. If you would like to contribute to this veterinary fund for our latest unexpected trio, it would be most appreciated! Any amount will help.
