A survivor trying to help a future survivor

As many of you know I am a breast cancer survivor of 11 years! I now have a dear friend of mine, Laura Rogers whose son is also a good friend of Jack’s, who is fighting this  hideous disease. Along with this she has had some other complications arise and I just feel the need to assist. 

Laura is a  mother first and foremost! She has a beautiful daughter that just got married to a wonderful man. And her son Dallas will be a senior this year and is a  tremendous young man with a very bright future.  They are her light in this darkness.  

But she is also a fighter and will be a survivor!  In the meantime she could use some assistance. We all know the cost of healthcare is not always manageable and I myself, working in the industry know there are times when insurance just doesn’t cover it.    Laura is lucky and does have health insurance, however there are deductibles and out of pocket amounts that need to be met as well as possible items that may not be covered.   She has had to take time off both her full-time and part-time jobs in order to begin her recovery.
