A Surprise Gift of Love

Hello, my name is Willie. Let me first say my brother and his family have NO IDEA I am putting this together. They have not asked me to do this, however, I would love to give them a surprise gift of love. I am raising donations for my brother and his family. My sister-in-law Katlyn recently had a cancerous tumor discovered near her brain stem. They have 6 children ranging from ages 1 1/2 to 12 1/2 years old. They are the most loving and caring family I have ever known. My brother Steven is the youth pastor of our local church and has the biggest heart for teens and GOD. The love of CHRIST overflows through him into everyone he meets. He is BEYOND sacrificial of his time and physical ability. He never likes to say no to anyone and is always there to help at a drop of a hat. Even though I am his older brother, I find myself weekly, if not daily, looking up to him and his amazing love for others. His wife Katlyn works with young kids at the local school associated with our church. She also helps in the nursery regularly at church on Sundays. She too is the most caring and loving person. Her personality is so easy going and mild mannered, that how she is able to raise 6 kids AND have my brother as a husband is simply astounding! She is a saint and the backbone of their family. Again, they have not asked me to do any of this, they hate asking others or burdening others. They have large support from their church and big extended family. I have taken it upon myself to put this together. I did put a monetary goal on here. I didn’t know what amount to enter so it was a random figure I came up with to be honest. The idea is to help them pay for gas and transportation to and from Baltimore daily for her doctors’ appointments. As well as, I like the idea of perhaps paying their bills for a bit, so they have less to worry about. As you can imagine feeding and raising 6 kids takes a lot. Any money raised, including if it goes above the monetary goal, will be donated directly to my brother's family. Thank you all for your love and support and donations. I just ask we keep this as quiet as possible so that it may be a happy surprise to them.
