A Surgery to Keep Living--Una cirugía para seguir viviendo

My name is Nelson Alejandro Blanco Córdova. I am a 66-year-old man with healthy habits, an active lifestyle, and a beautiful family—my wife, three children, and grandchildren—whom I love deeply. Today, I find myself battling a serious heart condition that has put my health and life expectancy at risk. Doctors have urgently stated that I need a triple heart valve replacement surgery in order to continue living and to enjoy the simple moments in life we all cherish. I feel especially blessed to have this surgical window, which is why time is of the essence.

Unfortunately, the cost of this procedure is beyond my financial means. That is why I humbly and hopefully turn to your heart for help. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and give me a chance to receive the treatment I so urgently need.

Mi nombre es Nelson Alejandro Blanco Córdova, un hombre de 66 años, con buenos hábitos, deportista y una hermosa familia, esposa, 3 hijos y nietos, que amo profundamente. Hoy me encuentro luchando contra una grave condición cardíaca que ha puesto en riesgo mi salud, y mi esperanza de vida. Los médicos han indicado, con urgencia, que necesito una cirugía de reemplazo de 3 válvulas cardíacas para poder continuar viviendo y disfrutar de momentos sencillos que todos valoramos. Estoy especialmente bendecido por tener esta ventana quirúrgica, de allí mi emergencia.
