Hello, my name is Journee Wood. I'm a 17 year old full time high school student with a 4.0 GPA, I practice football and wrestling. I work 3 part-time jobs in my small Northwoods town. My closest and only companion Rambo, my 1½ year Mastiff Shepard puppy, had a major medical emergency while I was at school, checked on him before I left and he seemed off. Lethargic, bloated, not himself. I was so worried, I checked on him at lunch and he'd gotten worse. I missed class and rushed him to my veterinarian where expensive emergency visit and xrays were conducted. A foreign object entered his digestive system and created a blockage. He needed emergency surgery and I have been a wreck. I used all of my savings for his down payment so it could be preformed, I have nothing left for my other bills or his post care and the rest of the initial payments I'm too young to apply for the care credit and have no credit to work off of to get a loan nor a cosigner. If I cannot pay I'll destroy my future hopes of gaining good credit for car, home, graduation is this year, college..... I'm reaching out in a desperate plight and asking for donations of any kind in this difficult Christmas time for the sake of my baby boy and our future. I've raised him since birth and he's such a good boy who loves and protects me. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and morally applied. Please help me and my baby boy. Thank you.
