Hi, my name is Yirou. I am an international student currently studying Animation (Lv8) in Tralee, Ireland.

I am originally from China. I have studied before in Canada and now I am in Ireland for one year to finish my degree. Studying animation is my dream and my family has worked very hard to support me so I can study abroad.

Recently, I lost €5,000 which was all of my family’s savings that they gave me to support my living costs for the year. My tuition and accommodation for Semester 2 are already paid, but without this money I am struggling to pay for food, electricity and bus transport.

I think I may have enough money to get through Christmas, but after that I am not sure how I will manage. This situation has been very stressful and frightening for me, especially because I am far from home and my family cannot afford to help me again.

The money raised will be used only for basic living expenses, such as food, electricity and transport, so I can continue my studies and finish my year in college.

Any support, even a small amount would mean so much. Thank you very much for reading my story. Your kindness would help me stay safe, fed and focused on my education.
