Hello, my name is Katie from England and I am setting up this go fund me to help a friend & his family currently struggling in Palestine. Due to the occupation of Israel they are not allowed their own bank accounts and those that have access to a PayPal office account have to pay a commission which means they don’t get a lot of what is donated.

This family doesn’t have anyone outside of Palestine therefore only has access to an internal account hence why I’m making this for them and will either link it to their account or transfer it directly to their account when sufficient funds are raised.

Husband and wife, Hamdi and Manar & their 3 year old son Karim, desperately need funds to buy food, Karim was injured due to the ongoing genocide and has suffered burns to his hand which he had one operation for, but needs more operations to restore proper function to his hand.. his wife was also pregnant and has recently come out of hospital after miscarrying their second child due to the lack of nutrition. This has left her needing treatment which they cannot afford… the heartbreak these families are experiencing is beyond comprehension and whilst I can’t stop the war, I can try and help them survive and escape it.

They are currently in north Gaza trying to go south but have no funds, no shelter and no food, transport isn’t cheap and due to the constant bombing it is very dangerous, food is also very expensive due to the high demand and low stock thanks to Israeli government blocking the aid from entering. This money raised will help with all mentioned above and hopefully help them get to safety. Our leaders have the power to stop this and they will only do so if enough people speak out and put pressure on them.

If you can donate anything whether it’s £2 or £20, every little bit will help this family survive this horror and hopefully escape to the south.

Their full names are Hamdi Jihad Hammad Khuwaiter, Manar Hussam Abdul Rahman Khuwaiter & Karim Hamdi Khuwaiter. Hamdi was a wood worker in a factory & Manar attended university and studied fashion then since becoming a mother looked after the home and Karim, the factory Hamdi worked in was destroyed during the Israeli bombing which left him with no job. These families are just like us and deserve to live in peace and happiness and I pray this will one day all be over.
