Her story:
This page has been set up on behalf of my sister, Casey Harmon. Unfortunately, Casey was diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier this year. This has led to countless tests, medications, procedures, and hospitalizations.
After receiving a pacemaker, she got some difficult news that it was not working as they had hoped. Her heart is very weak and I know that her care team is working very hard to find a solution. She is currently in the great care and capable hands of some of the best cardiologists in the country.
Casey is a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother...I could go on. This has been such a struggle mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially. As you can imagine, neither Casey nor her husband have been able to work as they could before meaning money is an added stress.
How to help:
We ask that you consider donating to help relieve some of the burden of medical expenses. This way she can focus her energy on finding a solution to strengthen her heart, improve her quality of life, and get back to her family. Not to mention continue to get the care she needs.
We would be so appreciative to anyone who would ultimately be helping to prolong my sister's life and strengthen her loving heart.
