A street dog named Blossom
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Hazel and I’m fundraising for Blossom. A few months ago we had a very successful fundraiser for Bubbles, Blossoms sister. So I’m really hoping to have the same success for Blossom.
Blossom and her sisters had the misfortune of being born as strays in Pakistan. Living on the streets where shooting and poisoning strays is a common practice. This family was in danger of being killed so an animal rescuer named Amara wasted no time and rescued the whole family and paid to have them boarded in a private clinic. Once rescued was spayed and the search for a forever home began but sadly this is Pakistan and finding a home is an impossible task. Pakistani society is a breed-obsessed society where a dog is seen more as a status symbol so a local dog does not fit the picture. Whilst people will pay thousands for a breed, nobody wants to offer a home to a street dog.
Amara managed to find a kind person who was going to overlook these dogs in what she thought was a safe area, but sadly a cruel individual shot Blossom’s sister and threatened to kill the remaining family. Since then they have all been with private fosters.
Blossom will never find a home in Pakistan and her only chance is to travel to Canada to find the forever home that she so deserves. This is why funds are needed to cover her travel costs including airfare, sky kennel, vet fees, rabies titer tests, and all other associated costs. Please note all invoices can be shown, on request.
