Help John the Stray Cat Get Back on His Paws

Meet John, a gentle and loving stray cat who has already stolen the hearts of everyone here at Redcar Vets.

John was brought in by a kind member of the public after being found injured and struggling to walk. Our veterinary team immediately examined him, and after providing pain relief and taking X-rays, we confirmed that poor John has a fractured leg.

Despite his pain, John has remained the sweetest boy — purring, cuddling, and showing endless affection to everyone who helps him. He deserves a chance to live the happy, healthy life every animal should have.

John has now been transferred to our sister practice, Seaham Vets, where he will undergo specialist orthopaedic surgery to repair his leg. This surgery will give him the best possible chance at a full recovery — but it’s also costly.

We are asking for your help to give John the second chance he so desperately needs. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward:

John has already shown incredible resilience and a loving spirit. With your support, we can mend his leg and restore his little life. ❤️

Please consider donating, sharing his story, and helping us get John back on his paws again. Together, we can make a difference for this special boy.

Let’s give John the happy ending he deserves.
